This exhibit explores the personnel of Coast Guard Station Ludington over the 70 years they operated out of what is now the museum building, and the primary duties assigned to this station: MAINTENANCE, TRAINING, STANDING WATCH, WEATHER REPORTING, SEARCH AND RESCUE, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AIDS TO NAVIGATION, and BOATING SAFETY. You will also hear the memories of Coast Guardsmen who served at Station Ludington. Through a hands-on activity, children will learn the meaning of signal flags.
The museum is operated by the Mason County Historical Society, which also operates the nearby Historic White Pine Village.
